Tibetan Sacred Mountains to the
Daughters' Kingdom photos of this
tripWe will travel through homes
of Naxi, Yi and Mosuo to the
sacred mountains of Kham to Trek
on the border of Yunnan and
Sichuan upon ancient trails
through valleys and mountains and
finally reach our destination,
Lugu Lake, the matriarchy society
of Mosuo. This path was a shortcut
taken by trade caravans in the old
times. We will spend our nights
with Mosuo and Tibetan families.

pastures by the beautiful alpine
lake.

1. Kunming
Day
2. Kunming to Lijiang
Day 3. Rest
day, sightseeing in and around
Lijiang
Day 4.
Mini-bus to Lugu Lake , journey
time about 6 hours. Stop at Yi
village on the way. Stay in Mosuo
guest house.
Days 5-16.
Trekking to Yading
Day 17.
Minibus to Daocheng (time 3 hrs);
visit Gongkaling Monastery; have
hot spring bath at Daocheng
Day 18.
Xiangcheng-Derong-Zhongdian
Day 19.
Zhongdian/Kunming
Take a
flight back to Kunming, you will
visit the Bamboo Temple in the
afternoon. (B,L,D)
Day 20.
Onwards
Transfer to
Airport for your onward flight.
